Institutional Compliance Office
Thank you for visiting the University’s Title IX and Institutional Compliance website! The Institutional Compliance Office is responsible for implementing and enforcing the University’s Nondiscrimination Policy and related policies and procedures, including the University’s compliance with Title IX. Although the office makes every effort to respond to calls, emails, and online submissions promptly, this website is not monitored 24 hours per day, and the office is not an emergency response service.
If this is an emergency or someone is in immediate danger, please call 911.
If you would like to contact the office, you may do so via email at titleix@truman.edu, by telephone at (660) 785-4354, or in person in Violette Hall 1308. Please note that since this is an office of one person, I cannot guarantee that I will be available and at my desk at all times. If you come to my office and are unable to speak with me, please email me to let me know, and I will make every effort to get back to you quickly to schedule a conversation.
You are more than welcome to speak to me in person, by phone, or via Zoom, depending on your preference. I am available to present to student organizations and to assist with events and activities that are related to the Compliance Office mission.
If you are a student with a disability and you need assistance to fully participate in your education, please contact Student Access and Disability Services at studentaccess@truman.edu, Institutional Compliance at titleix@truman.edu, the IT Service Center at (660) 785-4544, or submit a ticket to the IT Service Center at otrs.truman.edu/otrs/customer.pl.
