    Institutional Compliance Office

Thank you for visiting the University’s Title IX and Institutional Compliance website. Although safety orders and guidance from government and public health leaders issued due to the coronavirus and COVID-19 have limited interpersonal interactions and caused the transition from in-person instruction to remote education, the Institutional Compliance Office remains open and available. Feel free to send an email to titleix@truman.edu, telephone (660) 785-4354, or use the Report a Complaint form.

If this is an emergency, please call 911.

Temporary modifications have been made to intake, investigation, and adjudication processes to protect the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the campus community. These modifications are designed to allow the process to move forward recognizing fundamental fairness, due process, privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with the Non-Discrimination Complaint Reporting and Conflict Resolution Procedures. For a full list of the modifications, see Changes Due to Coronavirus Campus Closure and Social Distancing.

If you are a student with a disability and you need assistance to fully participate in your education, please contact Student Access and Disability Services at studentaccess@truman.edu, Institutional Compliance at titleix@truman.edu, the IT Service Center at (660) 785-4544, or submit a ticket to the IT Service Center at otrs.truman.edu/otrs/customer.pl.
